Who we are
Our Founder
I never set out to work in finance. I thought I would change lives through nutrition.
In college, I earned a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, believing that working one-on-one with people would be the best way to fight the growing epidemic of lifestyle diseases. But the more I learned, the more I realized that individual advice could only go so far. People’s health is shaped long before they ever sit down with a dietitian — it’s shaped by the food on our grocery store shelves.
I saw firsthand how businesses were driving the choices people made every day. If better food was affordable, accessible, and available, people would choose it. I realized that to create real change, I needed to work where decisions are made — inside the organizations that produce, distribute, and champion good food.
So I earned a second bachelor’s in Accounting and later an MBA. I built my skills in public accounting, auditing not-for-profits and businesses, learning the language of finance that powers decision-making. Over the years, I worked with organizations large and small — from SEC reporting for a multinational corporation to building financial systems for a scrappy startup — always staying close to the mission of creating real, lasting impact.
Today, I bring over a decade of experience to my own accounting and fractional CFO firm, serving businesses and not-for-profits dedicated to making food healthier for people and better for the planet.
Because when businesses have strong financial foundations, they can change the world — starting with what’s on our plates.
